About the event
Our Studio Lighting 1 (Intro) class is for professionals, enthusiasts, and aspiring professional photographers who are looking to get started using studio lighting in their work.
In this class we will use lecture, live demonstration and multimedia to build an understanding of studio lighting principles, camera settings, and introduce common light modifiers like the softbox, beauty dish and umbrella. The afternoon portion of the class is hands-on working with studio lighting.
You'll need to bring your camera and a portrait lens, note taking materials, and money for lunch. We'll either have food delivered so that we can work through lunch (group's decision) or go to a nearby eatery.
Our Studio Lighting workshops are an awesome investment in hands-on learning at a working photography studio. Pre-registration only. No day-of registrations.
